The Shame Of It All!

Yet another one of those touching “father-daughter” moments courtesy of a foul ball in the MLB.

Too bad dad missed both the ball and his daughter. Unfortunately, resident psycho-logist Wilson has alerted us to the scientific likelihood that the dropping of the daughter will probably go on to cause some long-term emotional damage.

Can anyone say “trust” issues? Can anyone say “daddy” issues? She sure will.

Any recovery tips for father or child? Let us know in the comments below.

It’s baseball. Take one for the team and if it hurts, whatever you do, don’t rub it. I’m a bit disappointed in dad. A real fan would’ve fully committed to the dive for the ball.

I’m not sure about the kid, but dad is in big time trouble when mom sees this.

We as fans, have more of a chance of catching a foul ball then a Homerunner. People who gets seats by the outfield, is crazy. I rather get midsection seat, behind the catcher. For one, you get to see EVERYTHING. Second, you could have a higher percentage of chance to actually catch a ball.

HAHA I mean, that’s not funny, but wooow! But, in reality, catching a foul ball is serious buisness. That kid needs to realize that you have to take a sacrifice from time to time

So true! There is actually a guy who went around catching foul balls in different stadiums for 20 years then wrote a book about the “art of catching a foul ball”. I forget his name but it proves that this kind of thing is serious business. The question still remains however, what would you ‘drop your child’ to catch?
