High Fives Hurt!

The high five. Something so simple that has often been made complex.

An act that has the power to renew and reassure a spirit just as much as it can discard and destroy a soul. When it works, one of the sweetest feelings on this earth, but when it fails, “paper bag over your face” time!

Here we have prepped some of those “paper bag over your face” moments. Enjoy.

Ouch… Now thats a pep rally if I ever did see one.

Someone please reach out to this enthusiastic young man in any possible way. He deserves it!

The look on the mascot’s face says it all. “Whose gonna get a high-five? I am, I am, I am….. I am not :(

He later went on to admit he was joining the crowd in a good old Mexican wave. Sure thing Al. Whatever you say buddy.

Always awkward. BTW, the “possibly related posts” for this post were “Preacher Power,” “Shaman,” and “Power for Witness.” There must be a lot of painful high-fiving going on in churches these days. :-)

Always awkward is right. The related posts are hilarious! I guess high fiving in the name of the Lord must be frowned upon in many churches and institutions. Ha!

Great collection there, but I think you missed out this one by Kevin Love, which I thought was the most hilarious one :)

Good spot Tay. Saw that Kevin Love fail couple of months ago. Can’t believe I forgot it. It is so painful even the opposition players and coaching staff were left hurting.

Through all the searching I have learnt one thing. Some people just shouldn’t even attempt these things. “Better to not high five than to have failed at a high five before”

WOW indeed and the commentary was truly excellent. The high five can be a rewarding but cruel mistress!

Haha that was some funny video’s! Especially the Wisconsin one. No one wanted to give the dude a high five. WOW!
